Sligo Web-application company PollDaddy has been acquired by Automattic for an undisclosed amount. Based in the US, Automattic is best known for operating WordPress, the world's most widely used blogging platform.
Writing on their company blog, PollDaddy founders Eoin Gallagher and David Lenehan said: "We have been working closely with the Automattic team for the past few months on building better integration with WordPress and, in the end, it just seemed like the perfect fit for us to join them."Read More
