LAMA Awards

Connect has been nominated for an award in the category 'Best use of external communications' in The 2008 Local Government, City & Council Awards. We are honoured to have been nominated. We communicate through our website, 2 blogs, an email newsletter & have been the subject of much press attention throughout 2007. What we love most about communication is that it is 2 way - you can comment on every post on this blog. We hope to achieve bigger & better things in 2008. As our banner above is getting cluttered with logos I thought it might be better to post the LAMA image in this post for now. And just so you know, LAMA – the local Authority Members’ Association- represents elected councillors nationwide who play a pivotal role in local government, representing their constituents in local issues, providing leadership within the community and being responsible for the provision of local services.
